Sec. 10-55(a) Sec. 10-57 & Sec. 10-61(a) Pay Tilford Lourdes Sewer Sewer Dep, and Extension Fund oard At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:30 p.m. on October 5, 1972, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner; Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4:30 p.m. on October 5, 1972, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that Gene G. Ruoff be reassigned and promoted from the civil service classification of Floodwall Superintendent to the civil service position of Director of Public Services, at a monthly salary of $1,250.00, effective from and after October 4, 1972. -Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear 'and_:Mayor McNutt (5) Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FRED L. NAGEL, AS ACTING CITY MANAGER, AND BENJAMIN C. LeRoy, AS CITY TREASURER, TO EXECUTE ALL CHECKS FOR ACCOUNTS OF THE OF PADUCAH REQUIRING THE SIGNATURES OF THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY TREASURER", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR AN ACTION GRANT WITH THE KENTUCKY CRIME COMMISSION TO IMPROVE TECHNOLOGY IN CRIME DETECTION, DETERRENCE AND APPREHENSION OF CRIMINALS", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-55(a), SECTION 10-57 AND SECTION 10-61(a) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED 'AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TILFORD PLUMBING AND HEATING, INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER EXTENSIONS AND A LIFT STATION TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN THE AREA OF KENNEDY AND LONE OAD ROADS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION', WHICH WAS ADOPTED FEBRUARY 1, 1972", be adopted. Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an Public Servi- ces ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE CREATING ARTICLE VII DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES, FOR CHAPTER ii, ADMINISTRATION, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY--, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and mayor McNutt (5). On motion the meeting adjourned. ADOPTED 1972 City Clerk APPROVED Mayor
