Notice. of Called Meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m,' on October 3, 1972, be received and filed. Adopted on-call of -the Roll,.Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,: -Hornsby. Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copy of the contract between the City of Paducah and Paducah Power Sy.sten for sale to the City of a 1963 Ford truck with Holan bucket, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey-, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear a Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Harvey coffered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the letter dated October 3, 1972, from H. B. Gibbons, Secretary to the Commissioners of Water Works, requesting that the City proceed at the earliest possible -date in passing an ordinance offering for sale $685,000 Paducah Water Works Revenue Bonds', be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the following personnel changes be made: 1. Paul Moore, building inspector, be placed under civil service for such position, retroactive to October 2, 1972, provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, -a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition: 2. Wayne Upshaw, city engineer, be placed under civil service for such position, retroactive to October 2, 1972, provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition. Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the executed copy of the contract between the City of Paducah and McKeown Office'Equipme.n- for sale to the City of ten Lanier tape -recorders, one Lanier Transcriber and sixty tape=paks for use by the Police Department, be received and filed. Hill pertaining,to a sewer tap -on for his residence at 4137 Minnich Avenu Resignation be received and filed, and Further moved that the offer contained in said letter be Larry E. accepted, and that the City issue a sewer tap -on permit upon,__receipt of payment -in the Thomas City sum of $750.00. Sewer tap -on Commissioner-Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the Mrs. Jesse further move that the said Larry Thomas receive all pay, -and, -allowances due him from the Brandon 403C letter from Mrs. Jesse Brandon pertaining to a sewer tap -on for her property at 4030 Minnich Ave. said payment to be made upon .demand. Adopted on_call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Minnich Avenue be received and filed,.and further moved that the offer contained in said Reclassify i letter be accepted, and that the City issue a sewer tap -on permit upon receipt of Robert C. V payment in the sum of $750.0.0. Larry E..Th-omas, City Manager of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, against Fourth Street Cinema, -et al, be received and . f-iled, and I further move that a hearing on said charges be held on October 10,,1972, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m., in the Commission Chamber in the -City Hall in Paducah, Kentucky, and that the City Clerk immediately notify.the_.said.defendants of such charges against them, and the date time and place of said hearing by having, a true -copy of said Charges served upon them according to Sec. 17-28 of the Code of Ordinances, together with the Notice of the date, time and place of hearing. Resignation Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by -Commissioner Hornsby, that the letter of Larry E. Thomas City Larry E. Thomas, dated October 3, 1972, resigning as City Manager and from all positions Manager with the City of Paducah, be received, filed and accepted, provided, -however, that I further move that the said Larry Thomas receive all pay, -and, -allowances due him from the City of Paducah through the month of October,- plus his 21 days. of accrued vacation time, 7 said payment to be made upon .demand. Brown Robert C. V Brown back t be reclassified from mechanic helper to collector in the Refuse department, and that the Collector in Refuse De t personnel change promoting the said Brown to mechanic helper passed at the meeting on September 26, 1972 be rescinded and become null and void. GOODRICH STORE FOR FURNISHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH ITS -REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR THE I PERIOD OF TIME FROM NOVEMBER 1, 1927 TO DECEMBER 31, 1973, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on file I for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
