City of Paducah September 26, 1972 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:30 P.M. on September 26, 1972, Mayor Protem Puryear presided in the absence of Mayor McNutt, and upon call of the Roll the followin answered to their names: Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) . Mayor Protem Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4:30 p.m. on September 26, 1972, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert and Mayor Protem Puryear (4). Mayor Protem Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the resignation of Mike Armour as a member of the Drug Abuse Commission be received, accepted and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby Lambert and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) . Mayor Protem Puryear made the,following appointment:. , I hereby appoint Dr. Clyde Peel a member of the Drug Abuse Commission to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mike Armour, said.appointment.being for an indefinite term. Said Commission shall now be composed of the following members: Charles Cissell B. W. Browne Jerry M. Counce Fred Morgan, Jr. Dr. Clyde Peel Mayor Protem Puryear made the following appointment: Mike Armour, a member and chairman of the Drug Abuse Commission having resigned, hereby appoint Charles Cissell to serve as Chairman of said Commission.
