T Wilkinson Increasing band File contract: \ Belmont Equi . 3 -wheel refuse vehicles File Audit Report Forest Hills Board of Commissioners ---city of August 1, 1972 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:00 o'clock p.m. on August 1, 1972, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt`(4), Commissioner Lambert being absent. Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby,'that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 5 o'clock p.m. on August 1, 1972, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, i Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that on the recommendation of the City Manager the following personnel changes be made: 1. The employment of John Davis Cox as part-time laborer in the Parks Department, be terminated effective July 31, 1972. 2. Charles.Bundren, Class "B" Operator in the Street Department, be promoted to Class "A" Operator, effective July 31, 1972. 3. Horace Smith, Class "C" Operator in the Street Department, be promoted to Class "B" Operator, retroactive to July 31, 1972. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copy of the Contract dated July 24, 1972, between the City of Paducah and the United States of America, Project No. KY -1017 -OS Open Space Land Program, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Endorsement to the Bond issued by The Fidelity & Casualty Company of New York to the City of Paducah on behalf of W. T. Wilkinson, increasing said bond from $1,000 to $3,000 effective June 21, 1972, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of e Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the executed copy of the Contract, dated July 21, 1972, between the City of Paducah and Belmony Equipment Company, Inc. for sale to the City of two 3 -wheel refuse vehicles, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the Audit Report of Forest Hills Public Project Corporation for the year ending May 31, 1972, which Audit Report was prepared by Schuette & Taylor, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Police Dept Amend "Bond ordinance Sec. 6-22 Amend "Bonds ordinance Sec. 6-31 i 391 August, 1, 1972 ' Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the City's compulsory retirement provisions be waived as to Elvis Courtney, an employee in the Cemetery Department, and that his employment be extended for a period of eighteen (18) months past September 2, 1972, the date on which he will reach said age. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . n `' Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an 't ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE COMPACT AUTOMOBILE TO BE USED BY THE CRIME SCENE UNIT OF THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4)-. Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner -Hornsby, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION 4 OF -SECTION 6-22 'DUTIES -AND POWERS OF THE, CITY TREASURER', OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby; Puryear and Mayor McNutt (3) Commissioner Harvey voted "No". Mayor McNutt offered motion, -seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE -AMENDING SECTION 6-31 'PAYMENT.OF FINES. BY BONDSMEN PROHIBITED'" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, -,-Commissioners Hornsby,--Puryear and Mayor McNutt (3), Commissioner Harvey voted "No". On motion the meeting adjourned.
