Johnson Robt Johnson D.L.Martin v Ray May Thomas Noto R M Robertso Robt Smith Larry Woolen D Kaufman At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7-30 p.m.', Ion -`March 7, 1972; Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt`(5). Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner'Hoinsby; that''the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meetirig'to be held -at 7:30 p'.m., on March 7, 1972, be received and filed. Adopted on call' of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt`'(5)-. follows: Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, as I move that the following personnel changes be made: 1. Charles Bradshaw, laborer in the Refuse Division, be terminated, retroactive to February 25, 1972. 2. That the following persons be employed as temporary laborers in the Refuse Division, on a call-in basis, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to March 2, 1972: Operation V Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that Agreement Control Towet this Commission receive, file and approve a proposed operation agreement for air traff Barkley Field control tower to be constructed by the United States of America. Adopted on call of File contrac for sale of Land -Urban Renewal Parking Lot the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the Contract for Sale of Land in Downtown Civic Center Project KY -R-30, dated February 2, 1972, between the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, pertaining to the property on the south line of Clark Street between South 4th Street and South 5th Street, be received and filed. Mill Jr. City of rch 7, 1972 - 329 Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that a copy of the proposed lease between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, County of McCracken, Kentucky and United States of America for an area of land at Barkley Field for the construction and operation of an air traffic control tower to cover the initial period from February 1, 1972 through June 30, 1973, be received, filed and approved. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the I contract dated March 3, 1972, between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and Robert W. Norcross for computer services coordination, be received and filed. Adopted -'on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5)1 Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the I detail specifications for one (1) 1000 GPM Commercial Pumper with ,750 gallon tank for use in the Paducah Fire Department, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a resolutions entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE (1) BRUSHCHIPPER FOR USE IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5)1 Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE (1) 1000 GALLON PER MINUTE PUMPING ENGINE FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN OPERATION AGREEMENT FOR AN AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER AT BARKLEY FIELD, WHICH TOWER IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED BY THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5)1 Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NORMAN B. MILLS, JR., TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOT 10, BLOCK 12 OF O'BRYANS ADDITION FOR THE SUM OF $200.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOF AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED", be adopted.
