executed copies of the Notice of: Called Meeting to ,be held at 7:30- p.m.,; on January
18, .1.972, be received and filed. Ad -opted on call of .the Roll, Yeas Commissioners
Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4).
CommissiQnet:.HOrnsby offered motion,.seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
bid _ of Allan ,'Rhoges,_ Inc., dated December 31;. 1971, for sale to the 'City; of -onenew-
1972 Ford .,Galaxie_ 500 for _ use by the Chief of the Paducah Police Department-, be receiveol
and filed.- Adopted -on call of the Roll,.Yeas, Commissi-oners,Hornsby, Lambert,
Puryear and Mayor McNutt.(4)
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by. -Commissioner Puryear, that -on
the recommendation of the City Manager, the following personnel changes be made:
1. Kenneth Howle, an Applicant -Candidate in the Fire Department,
has satisfactorily completed the 60 day training period as
such Applicant -Candidate as provided by ordinance, he:is here-
by appointed a fireman in the Fire Department, effective
January 24, 1972, at a salary of $530.00 per month.
2. The resignation of Mickey Sullivant, patrolman in the Police
Department, be accepted, effective January 22, 1972.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryeat and Mayor
McNutt (4) .
Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
following bids for sale to the City of four (4) new 1972 four door sedan automobiles
for use in the Police Department, be received and filed:
Allan Rhodes, Inc.
Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor
McNutt (4) .
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that an
ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE TO
THE CITY OF FOUR NEW 1972 FORD FOUR DOOR SEDANS FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH POLICE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE",
be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at lease one week in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4).
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that an
ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE SUM OF
