At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at
4:00 p.m., Mayor Paxton presided, and upon call of the roll by the Planning Director
(City Clerk was unable to attend the meeting) the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Gault, Kaler, and Mayor Paxton (3). Commissioners Abraham and
Watkins were absent (2).
R & F CALLED MEETING NOTICES
Mayor Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kaler, that the Notices of
Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah for 4:00 p.m.,
May 12, 2009, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Gault, Kaler, and Mayor Paxton (3).
The Board of Commissioners held a Neighborhood Walk event. They met at the gazebo
at 2nd and Broadway and proceeded with the walk along 2nd Street and Broadway. They
talked with business owners, customers and residents.
Several directors participated in the walk in the downtown area.
Planning Director, Steve Ervin, called the roll and recorded the vote for the called
meeting notice. (The City Clerk and Assistant City Clerk were unable to attend due to
preparing for the 5:30 Commission Meeting.)
Walk ended at approximately 5:15 p.m.
Upon motion meeting adjourned.
