AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, TRANSPORTATION
CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF RURAL AND MUNICIPAL AID AND THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR ACCEPTANCE OF MUNICIPAL AID FUNDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract between
the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet, Department of Rural and Municipal
Aid, and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for acceptance of Municipal Aid Funds for
maintenance, reconstruction, or construction of city streets within the City limits for fiscal year
2009-2010.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
