Mayor McNutt offered motion,' seconded by Commissione�5Lambert. that the, reading
of the.Minutes for -November 13--and-.20; 1973"be waived and that theJM nutes-of said meetings
prepared by 'the. City Clerk be[approved as written. Adopted: nn call of the Roll, Yeas ,
Commissioners Lambert, Puryear 1 and Mayor McNutt (3)
Commissioner Lambert offered- motion; seconded by Commissioner Puryear,.-that
the'Board.'of Commissioners approve'the claim of. r,. --Jack Beach in the -amount of ,296.10
for damages done to. `his" 1966 "Mustang upon it being struck.'by a vehicle belonging to the
Paducah Police Departmerit and that a full" and final release be' obtained -prior to paying said

Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear:, that the
Certificate of Insurance issued by Trinity. Universal Insurance. Company to Jimmy,-Harber and
his wife, Corine Harber, for the period from: Augustl';.'I973 to July '1, 1974','together with Bond -in
the amount of $1, 000 `dated August: 1,'1973- be'received'; approved and. filed. Adopted on- call
of the Roll, Yeas,. Commissioners Lambert,, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (3) .
Commissioner Lambert offered motion,. seconded by Commissioner; Puryear,:_ that the
statement submitted`by `The MITRE Corporation:in thes amount of $36.5: 00 for assistance in the.
study of Cable Television for Paducah, be approved for payment. :-Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (3) .
Commissioner Puryear offered motion; seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that t , q :,
executed copy of the contract dated November 21, 1973, between the City of Paducah and Allan
Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of nine police cars and one station wagon, be received and filed
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (3) .
Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
executed copy of the Contract dated October 17, 1973, between the City of Paducah, and the
County of McCracken, Kentucky, and Community Program Consultants, Inc. for the preparation
of preliminary engineering plans relating to the establishment of a port facility, Port of Entry
and Foreigh Trade Zone, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (3) .
Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that a resolution
entitled "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF APPROXIMATELY 36 MANUALLY OPERATED PARKING METERS, HEADS AND
COIN BOXES, AND PRESCRIBING THE MANNER IN WHICH BIDS SHALL BE SUBMITTED",
