Commissioners Harvey-, Hornsby, Lambert,- Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Mayor McNutt offered motion, -seconded by Commissioner .Hornsby-; that the- executed --copies of -the Notice of Called Meeting to beheld at -.4- .30 p.m. on �S-eptember 4, 1973; be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,* Commissioners Harvey,' Hornsby, Lambert, candidate in said Fire Department, effective September 17, 1973, at a salary of $395.00 per month, provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition, including an electrocardiogram. Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear as follows: /- ° Upon the recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the following personnel changes be made: Herman Knight 1. Herman Knight, No. 2 maintenance man in the Maintenance Department, be reclassified Meter Tech. and promoted to meter technician in said Department, at an hourly wage of $3.21 per hour, effective September 17, 1973. R. L. Langston 2. Roy L. Langston, maintenance helper in the Maintenance Department, be reclassified Maintenance ma and promoted to maintenance man No. 2 in said department, at a base wage of $3.11 No. 2 per hour, effective September 17, 1973. A#ma Kiyoshi 3. Arima Kiyoshi, temporary laborer in the Maintenance Department, be assigned to said Maint. Helper department as a maintenance helper, at an hourly wage of $3.01, beginning September 9,1973. John H Coffie / 4. John A. Coffie , Jr . , be employed as part-time truck driver in the Parks Department Park Dept at a salary of $2.10 per hour, retroactive to August 30, 1972. Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, as follows: Rescind Upon the recommendation of Leon Dodge, Fire Chief, and the City Manager, I move employment David C Feezoa that the following personnel changes be made: App. Candidate Fire Dept, It appearing that David C. Feezor failed to qualify for employment in the Paducah Employ Ricky Fire Department because of physical reasons, I now therefore move that the action taken Lee Deen App. Candidate by this Board on August 28, 1973 to employ David Feezor as Applicant -candidate in the Fire Dept. Paducah Fire Department be rescinded; and that Ricky Lee Deen be employed as Applicant - candidate in said Fire Department, effective September 17, 1973, at a salary of $395.00 per month, provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition, including an electrocardiogram. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner- Hornsby offered motion, seconded:-hy -Commissioner Harvey, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 8-33 'PRICE OF GRAVE LOTS SOLD UNDER SINGLE -GRAVE PRIVILEGE' OF ARTICLE III 'OAK GROVE CEMETERY GENERALLY' OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY" , be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4), Commissioner Harvey voted "No". Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 8-36 'CHARGE FOR OPENING AND CLOSING GRAVES; OTHER CEMETERY SERVICES', OF ARTICLE III, 'OAK GROVE CEMETERY GENERALLY', OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) , Commissioner Harvey voted "No" Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF CARNEY G. ALLEN & ASSOCIATES, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, TO MAKE AN AUDIT -OF THE ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY, AND OF ALL CITY OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR 197311, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that an rg ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $18, 000.00 TO THE MECHANICSBURG CODE ENFORCEMENT PROJECT FOR IMPROVEMENTS ON VARIOUS STREETS LYING WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY, BUT OUTSIDE OF THE LIMITS OF THE MECHANICSBURG CODE ENFORCEMENT PROJECT", be adopted. Adopted on call of the roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
