At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the P City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 2:00 p.m., on May 1, 1973, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Hornsby,- Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4), Commissioner Harvey' being absent. Mayor McNutt' offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 2:00 p.m., on May 1, 1973, be -received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Settlement of Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the reports Sewer & Refu for April 1973 of the Paducah Water Works for the month of April, 1973, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Com`inissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . File contract Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the B & B Const Co., repair executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and B & B Construction Company fire station for sale to the City of various materials and services for repairs to the fire station located on 6th Street in Paducah, ,Kentucky, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . File contract , Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Manning Equip material executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Manning Equipment, Inc . , for spreaders sale to the City of three (3) Gledhill Model 707A Roller type rear mounted material spreaders for use in the Street Department, for the amount of $3,039.00, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Employ Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that upon the Carson Belche St. Dept. recommendation of the City Manager, the following personnel changes be made: Temporary 1. Carson Belcher be employed as a temporary laborer in the Street Department, Pump operators at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to April 30, 1973. Floodwall 2. James Corder be employed as a temporary and part-time truck driver in the James Corder Parks Department, at a salary of $2.10 per hour, retroactive to April 30, 1973. Park Dept 3. The following persons be employed as temporary pump operators in the Floodwall Terminate Department, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to April 25, 1973: temporary employees in David J. Adams Park Dept. Joe R. Ford William D. Miller Robert G. Travis 4.
