Mayor Protein Puryear offered motion -se'conded- by Commissioner -Hornsby, that the executed copies of the Notice 'of"Called"* Meeting to- be held fat x:'30" p:m on April "17, 1973, be -received and filed. Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner'Hornsby, that upon the recommendation of the, City Manager the following 'personnel changes be made: 1. Robert Wahl, temporary 'laborer `in Maintenance -Department, 'be t6kminate'd,-r'etroacti to April 12, 1973 Wm. Tolley 2. Everett Eugene Bishop be employed as a laborer in the Park Department, at a Cemetery salary of $2.68 per hour, effective April '18', 1973 Gary Martin 3. Four copies of General Budget 5. Copy of Certified Assessment from Department of Revenue 6. Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the claim of David Weatherford in the amount of $300.00 for damage to his 1959 Ford Fairla Automobile, which was struck by a City refuse vehicle on April 4, 1973 on the Old Mayfi4ld Road in the 1000 block. be allowed, and that the City Treaaurer be authorized to pay said claim after obtaining a complete and final release and a Bill of Sale to the automobile. Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner.Harvey, that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City -of Paducah to V S. and Violet r: Craig of a parcel of land, 10 feet by 10 feet, located in the southeast corner of Lot No. 291 in Section No. 19 in Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of $200.00 (Receipt No. 11549) and that ,the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of: _conveyance to said cemetery graves.- Adopted -,on call of the .Roll,. Giem & Associate! for sale to the City of labor and materials for the construction for the location of a] antenna support system atop the Jackson House in the City of Paducah in the amount of $1,750.00, for the use of all departments communication systems, be received and filed Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert and Mayor Protem Puryear Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Reed Crushed Stone Compa3 Inc. be received and filed, and that the performance bond required by said contract, executed by said Company as principal and United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company as surety be received, approved and filed.
