Patrick File bids on police cars and van M At a Called.Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall; Paducah, Kentucky, at 4: 30 p.m:, on October -29, 1974, Mayor McNutt - presided and upon call of the Roll- the following answered to their names: Commissioners Brumley, Coleman," Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Mayor McNutt offered motion,, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4: 30 P.M., .on October 29;7 1974; be received and. filed. ;Adopted -on- call of the Roll; Yeas, - Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear, and Mayor McNutt (5) Mayor McNutt made the following appointment: Marilyn Keesee, a -member of the Paducah=McCracken County Recreational, Tourist and -Convention Commission, having resigned effective September 17, 1974, and the Paducah -McCracken County Hotel=Motel Association -having submitted the name of Frank Evans to -act -as its representative -on said -Commission., I hereby appoint Frank Evans as a member of said Commission to fill the unexpired term of Marilyn Keesee, expiring December 31, 1974; jointly -with -the Judge of McCracken County,, so that -said Commission will now consist of -the following -members to serve the following prescribedterms: Harold Van Morgans Sr". f 3 year term, expiring December '31-- 1974 Frank Evans 3 year term, expiring December 31, 1974 Ed Taylor, - .3 year term, expiring December 31,'1974 Thomas W. Right-of-way "Easement granted 'to the Paducah Power System, for the location of underground electric distribution lines through property `of the City of Paducah in and around Noble Park, be received and filed. Adopted on call `of the' Roll , Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the claim of Rita L. Patrick, 512 North 5th Street, in the amount of $198:75 for damage -to her 1962 Chevrolet -caused -when struck by a police vehicle driven by Danny Clayton Midyett, at 10th & Broadway on October 14, 1974, be allowed, and that the City Treasurer pay said claim after obtaining afull and complete release. File bids on Refuse truck Resolution of V Electric Plant Board on Rates and Charges Resolution Elei Plant Board recommending auditors of Paducah, covering work done by G & D Piping' Company for a period of one year from July 1, 1974, together with bond in the amount of $1,000 dated September -20, 1974, be"received, approved and filed: Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, 'Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear -and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the resignation of Mrs. Marilyn Keesee as a member of the Paducah -McCracken County Recreational Tourist and Convention Commission be received, accepted and filed. Adopted on call of the. Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman; Hornsby, -Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner" Hornsby offered motion, -seconded by Commissioner Purgear, that the reports of the Paducah Water Works for the month of October, 1974, be received and filed. Adopted on. call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . _ Commissioner Hornsby offered motion; seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Certificate of Insurance issued by The Aetna Casualty land Surety Company to, the City of " Paducah covering work done by Roy Amis, for a period of one year from April 3, 1974, together with Bond in the amount of $1., 000 dated "September 27, 1974, be received,, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner -Hornsby offered motion"; seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the following bids.for -sale-to the City. -of a refuse -truck and packer body be' received -and filed: Woodall Motor Sales -Rudd-Woodall Ford Mercury, Inc Allan Rhodes, Inc. - - James Municipal Equipment, -Inc Sanco- Corporation Adopted on-call of the, Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, -Puryear ;=and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a copy of the resolution adopted by the Electric" Plant Board on October 9, 1974, pertaining to the Schedule of and Charges, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a certified copy of the resolution adopted by the Electric Plant Board on October 23, 1974; recommending the appointment of Frerman and Smiley, Certified Public Accountants, to"make-the annual audit of the Board's records for the period- from July -1, 1974 -to June 30, 1975; be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the bid of the Walter C. Dollinger Company for sale to the City of ten (10) water closet lavatory combinations, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE RELOCATION OF CERTAIN SEWER FACILITIES IN THE VICINITY OF I-24 AND U. S. HIGHWAY 6211, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Brumley, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION SELECTING AND DESIGNATING FRERMAN AND SMILEY, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO AUDIT THE RECORDS OF THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FROM JULY 1, 1974 TO JUNE 30, 197511, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner. Puryear, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY TREASURER TO PAY TO ALLEN AND BARNETT , CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, THE SUM OF $1,287.50 FOR AUDIT SERVICES RENDERED SINCE MARCH 1974, IN Q01qNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 197411, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . FOR THE YEAR 1975 FOR A $10,000.00 ANNUAL PAYMENT", be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF TEN (10) NEW 1975 FOUR DOOR AUTOMOBILES AND ONE (1) NEW 1975 VAN FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage. DOLLINGER COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TEN (10) SUPER SECUR (MODEL SS-5150-FDW), CENTER MOUNTED STAINLESS STEEL WATER CLOSET LAVATORY COMBINATIONS, FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH CITY JAIL, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage. Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WOODALL MOTOR SALES FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) TRUCK AND CHASSIS AND ONE (1) TWENTY CUBIC YARD REFUSE PACKER BODY FOR USE IN THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
