Brumley,, _Hornsb_y, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4), :Commissioner ,Coleman. was absent.. Mayor McNutt offered motion-, seconded by Commissioner. Hornsby-,: that the reading of the Minutes for August 27 and . September 3_, .197-4. be waived --and that Minutes of, said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (.4):., Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copy of the Contract between the_ City -of, Paducah and Erection and Emplacement, Inc. be received and filed, and that the performance bond required by said contract, executed by said Company as principal and St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company of St. Paul, Minnesota as surety, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on calL.of the Roll; Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a copy of the resolution adopted by the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, authorizing an adjustment in the Schedule of Rates and Charges to be effective on and after August 24, 1974, together with a copy of said Schedule, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that upon recommendation of the City Manager, the following personnel changes be made: 1. Gina W. Anderson be employed as clerk -typist in the Personnel and Purchasing Department, retroactive to September 9, 1974; at a salary of $410.00 per month. 2. The resignation of Jimmy Simmons, vehicle body repairman in the Street Department, be accepted, effective August 30, 1974. 3. Clarence Schoening, mechanic helper in the Parks Department, be terminated, effective September 9, 1974. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the letter dated September 1, 1974 from Curtis L. Grace offering the sum of $10,000.00 as purchase price for the property located at 323 North 9th Street, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF MASSAGE PARLORS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY”, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) .
