File Agreemen State of Ky. . ar City BOR Proj No. 21-00250 (Kold Park) At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.Mon July 9, 1974, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of -the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5 ); . Mayor McNutt offered motion; seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading of the Minutes for June Mand July 2, 1974 be waived and -that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor; -McNutt (5) . Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by'Commissioner Brumley, that upon the recommendation of the. City Manager the following personnel changes be made: 1. The resignation of William- T. McInnis, patrolman in then Paducah Police Department, be received, filed and accepted, effective July 16, 1974. 2. Kenneth B. Aldridge, an Applicant -Candidate in the Fire Department, has satisfactorily completed the 60 day training period as such Applicant - Candidate as provided by ordinance, he is hereby appointed a firefighter -in;the fire department, at a salary of $2.056 per hour, effective July 22, 1974. 3. Billy Copeland, laborer in the Street Department; be promoted to truck driver in said department, at a salary of $3.21 per hour, retroactive to July 8, 1974. 4. Larry Roberts, Collector in the Refuse Department, be promoted to sewer maintenance man in the Street Department , at a salary of $3.41 per hour, retroactive to July 8, 1974. 5. Joseph Chapman be employed as Maintenance Man #2 in the Parks Department, at a salary of $3.41 -per hour, retroactive to July 8, 1974. 6. Paul Martin be employed as collector in the refuse department, at a salary of $2.98 per hour, retroactive to July 8, 1974. 7. The following be employed as part-time recreation leaders in the Parks Department, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, effective July 9, 1974. Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Building and Electrical Inspector and the City Treasurer, be, and they are hereby, authorized to waive any and all fees required by City Ordinances related to the Building and Electrical Permits needed for the reconstruction of the Marker House. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the following bids for sale to the City of two (2) compact station wagons for use by the Fire Department, be received and filed: Ray H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc. Allan Rhodes, Inc. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copy of the agreement between the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the City of Paducah regarding BOR Project No. 21-00250, be received and filed. Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SECOND AMENDED COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE URBAN RENEWAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PERTAINING TO THE SECOND AMENDED REVISED APPLICATION FOR THE FOURTH ANNUAL INCREMENT, NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR PROJECT NO. KY. A-211, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILKINS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALKS AND DRIVE APRONS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION", be adopted.
