Mayor Protem Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4: 30 p.m. , on April 30, 1974, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commiisioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) . Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the reports of the Paducah Water Works for the month of April, 1974, be received and filed. Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the executed contract between the City and West Kentucky Roofing and Siding Company for sale to the City of 2400 linear feet of chain link fence to be erected at Stuart Nelson Softball Field, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) . Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and J. R. Sullivan's Lawn & Garden Equipment for sale to the City of one Yazoo Riding Mower for use by the Parks Depart- ment, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) . Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Brumley, that the liability insurance policy issued by The Aetna Casualty and Surety Company to Paul Duncan, for a period of one year from April 30, 1974, be received, approved and filed. Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Brumley, that upon recommendation of the City Manager the following personnel changes be made: 1. The resignation of Willie D. Keeling, Jr . , firefighter in the Paducah Fire Department, be accepted, effective May 1, 1974. 2. The following temporary employees in the Parks Department be terminated % retroactive to April 25, 1974: f James Garritson Louise Hovekamp 3. James Alvin Carruthers be employed as temporary laborer in the Parks Department, at a salary of $2.10 per hour, retroactive to April 29, 1974. Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the claim of Gerber Products Company in the amount of $158.44 for damage to their 1974 Ford Hardtop when struck by a police car on March 23, 1974, on Irvin -Cobb Drive, be allowed, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to:.. pay said claim after first obtaining a complete and final release. Mayor Protem Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the executed copy of the Contract between the City and Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., for sale to the City of three Fleetside pickup trucks for use by the Street and Floodwall Departments, be received and filed. K. HOCKER AND WIFE, LUCILLE HOCKER, FOR THE LEASE OF THE PREMISES KNOWN AS 314 CLARK STREET, PADUCAH, KENTU be adopted.
