Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading of the Minutes for March 26 and April 2, 1974 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written-.. T . , said meeting being for the purpose of giving the final reading of the ordinance authorizing the issuance and sale of $1, 340, 000 of City of Paducah Sewer System Revenue Bonds Series of 1974, and the ordinance amending the existing sewer rate ordinance of the City of Paducah, and for the purpose of transacting any other business that may properly come before the meeting. Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, as follows: Pay $2,130.00 to Colt League WHEREAS, the Kentucky Department of Highways has condemned for right=of-way right-of-way along Noble Par purposes a strip of ground on the north side of U'. S. 60 along Noble Park, and Highway Dept. WHEREAS, the condemnation award paid to the city the sum of $2,130.00 for an equipment shed and a building containing a concession stand and equipment storage, which buildings were adjacent to the Colt League Baseball field at Noble Park, and WHEREAS, the shed and building were constructed and erected by donated material and labor and were used and occupied and needed by the Colt League, and WHEREAS, the buildings are now required to be removed and it will be necessary to replace them to the operation of the League, NOW, THEREFORE, I move that the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized to transfer to the said Colt League, in care of Tom Fuqua, its treasurer, the sum of -$2,130. 00 provided the said League agrees to remove 'the said shed and building and either relocate them or reconstruct new comparable facilities: Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
