terminated, retroactive to February 15, 1974.

Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that
Charles Everett Wallis -be -employed as Applicant -Candidate in the Paducah -Fire Department,
effective March 4, 1974 at 7: 05 a.m. provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a
satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition including an electrocardiogram and all
back X-rays. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Hornsby and Puryear
(3) , Commissioner Brumley and Mayor McNutt voted "No".
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the
executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc.
for sale to the City of two new 1974 Chevrolet Novas for use in the Inspection Department, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman
Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that

Kentucky Gas Company in connection with the improvements on U. S. Highway 60, be
