Larson whose term expires August 31, 1975 Mrs. Mildred Washburn whose term expires August 31, 1976 Leslie Feast whose term expires August 31, 1977 Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Board of Commissioners approve the action of Mayor Alice H. McNutt reappointing Leslie Feast a member of the Paducah Board of Adjustment'. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Brumley, that the claim of' Tremon Pace in the amount 'of $210.23 for damage to his 1965 Comet Station Wagon resulting from an accident involving a refuse vehicle owned by the City of Paducah 1. and operated by Sylvester Orr, at 30th and Jefferson Street on January 9, 1974, be allowed, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay said claim after first obtaining a complete and final release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, as follows: Upon the recommendation of'the City Manager, I move that the following personnel changes be made: 1. Glenda James, metermaid in the Police Department, be placed under civil service for such position, effective January 21, 1974. 2. Jill Hughes be employed as a temporary, part-time clerk -typist in the City Manager's office, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to January 14, 1974. 3.- The.fo1lowing be employed as temporary pump operators in the Floodwall Department at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to January William T. Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the Certificate of Insurance issued by The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York, to Loren Jones; Loren Jones Excavating Company, Inc., and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for a period of one year from January 1, 1974, be received, approved and filed.
