Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Brumley, that the claim of' Tremon Pace in the amount 'of $210.23 for damage to his 1965 Comet Station Wagon resulting from an accident involving a refuse vehicle owned by the City of Paducah 1. and operated by Sylvester Orr, at 30th and Jefferson Street on January 9, 1974, be allowed, and that the City Treasurer be authorized to pay said claim after first obtaining a complete and final release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, as follows: Upon the recommendation of'the City Manager, I move that the following personnel changes be made: 1. Glenda James, metermaid in the Police Department, be placed under civil service for such position, effective January 21, 1974. 2. Jill Hughes be employed as a temporary, part-time clerk -typist in the City Manager's office, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to January 14, 1974. 3.- The.fo1lowing be employed as temporary pump operators in the Floodwall Department at a salary of $2.00 per hour, retroactive to January William T.
