A Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners was held on October 19, 2005, at 5:00
p.m., at the West Kentucky Community & Technical College in Crounse Hall. Those
present were Mayor Paxton, Commissioners Coleman and Sirk (3).
MOTION
R & F AMENDED CALLED MEETING NOTICE
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Sirk, that the
Amended Notices of Called Meeting for the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19th, 2005 be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Sirk, and Mayor Paxton (3).
MUNICIPAL ORDER
TERMINATION OF GRANT AGREEMENT WITH GOVERNOR'S OFFICE
FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT
Commissioner Sirk offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that a
Municipal Order entitled, "A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
PADUCAH TO TERMINATE THE RENAISSANCE KENTUCKY FUNDING
AGREEMENT NO. RK04-DR050 ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH AND THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF
GOVERNMENT, RENAISSANCE KENTUCKY, PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF
PADUCAH' S RIGHTS UNDER SECTION 8.4 OF SAID AGREEMENT," be adopted.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Sirk, and Mayor Paxton (3).

The remainder of the meeting was to hear a continued presentation (from the previous
evening) from Lane Kendig on the options available to develop the City and County
Comprehensive Plan. Members of the City and County Planning Commissions, the
County Fiscal Court and the Advisory Committee attended as well. Topics of discussion
were Zoning and Growth Management Techniques.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:20 p.m.
