At a Called meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 p.m. on April 4, 1978, Mayor
Murphy presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Com-
missioners Coleman, Grumley, Meeks, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
Mayor Murphy offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley, that the
File Notices of Called Executed Copies of the Notices of Called Meeting to be held at 7: 30 p.m . , on April 4,

i 1978, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman,
Grumley, Meeks, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .

Bill Bartleman of the Paducah Sun Democrat, rose and addressed the Commission,
informing them that the Paducah Sun Democrat objected to the holding of this meeting

ner required by KRS Chapter 61. Mr. Bartleman further stated he objected to the Board
having an Executive Session for the same reason. After discussion and upon advice of
Corporation Counsel, W. David Denton, the meeting was adjourned upon motion duly
made and seconded.
