A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
FIREFIGHTERS MATCHING FUND GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS
NECESSARY THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY IN
THE AMOUNT OF $16,096.00, FOR FUNDING TO IMPLEMENT THE NATIONAL FIRE
ASSOCIATION RISK WATCH PROGRAM THROUGH THE PADUCAH FIRE
DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a matching fund grant
application and all documents necessary to obtain a firefighter's grant through the Federal
Emergency Management Agency in the amount of $16,096.00, for funding to be used to
implement the National Fire Association's Risk Watch Program through the Paducah Fire
Department. The City cash match will be provided by the Fire Department in the amount of
$1,788.00.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
