A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY
OF $.22 PER CUSTOMER PER MONTH FOR COLLECTION FEES FOR SOLID
WASTE BILLING BY PADUCAH WATER WORKS
WHEREAS, Paducah Water Works collects solid waste charges for the
City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, Paducah Water Works has requested that their compensation
for collecting this fee be adjusted.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Paducah Water Works is authorized to retain the sum
of $.22 per customer per month from the solid waste service payments to reimburse them
for their costs of collecting this amount on behalf of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. When the U.S. Postal Service increases postal rates Paducah
Water Works may unilaterally increase the collection fee to charge the City its pro rata
share of the higher postage rates.
