Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber,
City Hall, at 8: 00 a.m. on June 4, 1981, Mayor Penrod presided and upon call of the Roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Ford, Viterisi and Mayor
Penrod (5) .
Commissioner Flynn offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the
executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 8:00 a.m. on June 4, 1981, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Ford,
Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (5) .
Mayor Penrod made the following appointments:
Pursuant to Section 62.15 of the Code of ordinances of the City of
Paducah, I hereby, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners, appoint
the following as members of the Historical and Architectural Review Commission:
Mrs. Martha L. Choate, for a term of one year, expiring June 4, 1982
John R. Warden, for a term of two years, expiring. June 4, 1983
Gary McNutt, for a term of two years, expiring June 4, 1983
Mrs. Marian J. Widener, for a term of three years, expiring June 4, 1984
Richard Holland, for a term of three years, expiring , June 4, 1984.
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Flynn, that the
Board of Commissioners approve the appointments of Mrs. Martha L.. Choate, John R. Warden,
Gary McNutt, Mrs. Marian Widener and Richard Holland as members of . the Historical and
Architectural Review Commission. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman,
Flynn, Ford, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (5) .
Commissioner Ford offered motion, seconded by .Commissioner Viterisi, that upon
June 4, 1981
recommendation of the City Manager, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah orders
that the personnel changes on the attached list be approved:
POLICE DEPARTMENT
1. The resignation of Raymond E. Dalli be received and accepted, retroactive
to May 3, 1981.
2. The resignation of Robert E. Kolb be received and accepted, retroactive
to May 26, 1981.
CEMETERY
1. Richard D. Calvert be employed as laborer, at a salary of $5.81 per hour,
effective June 8, 1981.
REFUSE DEPARTMENT
1. Donald R. Wilkey, truck driver in the Street Department, be promoted to
Class "A" truck driver in the Refuse Department, at a salary. of $6.42 per
hour, retroactive to June 1, 1981.
STREET DEPARTMENT
1. Dwight Newton, collector, Refuse Department, be promoted to Sewer
Maintenance Man in the Street (Sewer) Department, at a salary of
$6.56 per hour, effective June 8, 1981.
