A MUNICIPAL ORDER APROVING THE REQUEST OF THE
PLANNING DEPARTMENT TO APPLY TO THE STATE FOR
EXPANSION OF THE ENTERPRISE ZONE BOUNDARY
WHEREAS, the Enterprise Zone was established on November 14, 1986;
WHEREAS, a section of the boundary following Park Avenue to North
Tenth Street excluded Blackhawk Bakery from the zone.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah approves the request of the Planning
Department to apply to the State for expansion of the Enterprise Zone boundary to
include the following area:
Beginning at a point at the southeast intersection of Park
Avenue and Boyd Street; said point being the southeasterly
corner of Lot 13, Block 18, of the Harris, Flournoy, Trimble
and Norton Addition; thence in an easterly direction a distance
of 745.85' to a point; said point being the northeast intersection
of North 10th Street and Park Avenue; thence in a northerly
direction 397.50' to a point; said point being the southwesterly
intersection of North 10th Street and Boyd Street; thence in an
easterly direction a distance of 610' to a point; thence in a
southerly direction a distance of 27.22 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
