MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 945
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO
EXECUTE AN ON-LINE FIREFIGHTERS MATCHING FUND GRANT APPLICATION
THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT
OF $180,000, FOR FUNDING TO BE USED FOR THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is hereby authorized to execute an on-line
matching fund grant application and all documents necessary to obtain a firefighter's grant
through the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the amount of $180,000, for funding to
be used for the Paducah Fire Department to purchase a radio equipment, water rescue equipment,
hazardous materials equipment, and high angle rope rescue equipment. The City cash match
will be provided in the amount of $20,000.00.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
