MUNICIPAL ORDER NO.
A MUNICIPAL ORDER RE -AUTHORIZING THE URBAN RENEWAL
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY FOR REVITALIZATION OF THE LOWERTOWN DISTRICT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:

SECTION 1. That the Urban Renewal and Community Development
Agency is re -authorized to act on behalf of the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah for revitalization of the Lowertown District.
SECTION 2. That the Urban Renewal and Community Development
Agency is further re -authorized to act on behalf of the Board of Commissioners to create
a development area, to apply for grants, to hold public hearings, and to perform all day-
to-day activities to move this plan forward, and to act as the City's representative in all
aspects of the construction and management of speculative buildings in the project area.
Major actions will be presented to the Board of Commissioners for approval.
SECTION 3. The attached personnel action as recommended by the City
Manager is hereby approved.
SECTION 4. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
