Dept. of Transportation Accept bid of Allied Machinery LOST 4 to 1 (bulldozer) No, January 15, 1980 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber at City Hall on January 15, 1980, Mayor Penrod presided and iipon call of the Roll, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Ford, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (5) . Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Flynn, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4: 30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 15, 1980 be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Ford, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (5) . 189 Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Flynn, as follows: WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes permit the adoption of ordinances by reference to a summary thereof; I therefore move that an ordinance accepting the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for sale to the City of Five (5) Refuse trucks, for a sum of $115,061.00, and as appended in full hereto be introduced and adopted according to law; this being the second and final reading. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (4) . Commissioner Ford abstained (1) . Commissioner Flynn offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, as follows: WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes permit the adoption of ordinances by reference to a summary thereof; I therefore move that an ordinance accepting the bid of Municipal Equipment, Inc . , for sale to the City of three 20 -yard packers and one 17 -yard packer, for a sum of $43,425.00, and as appended in full hereto be introduced and adopted according to law. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (4) . Commissioner Ford abstained (1) . Commissioner Ford offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Viterisi, as follows: WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes permit the adoption of ordinances by reference to a summary thereof; I therefore move that an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with the Kentucky Department of Transportation, and as appended in full hereto be introduced and adopted according to law. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Ford, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (5) . Commissioner Viterisi offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, as follows: WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes permit the adoption of ordinances by reference to a summary thereof; I therefore move that an ordinance accepting the bid of Allied Machinery, for sale to the City of One Komatsu D85E Dozer, for the sum of $114,000.00, and as appended in full hereto be introduced and adopted according to law. City of Paducah janliaFy 16, 1980 At the January 8, 1980 meeting, Commissioner Viterisi offered the following motion, seconded by Commissioner Ford, which motion was tabled until the next Com- mission meeting: WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes permit the adoption of ordinances by reference to a summary thereof; I therefore move that an ordinance accepting the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc . , for sale to the City of one new Fiat -Allis Model 16-B Crawler Tractor (bull- dozer) to be used on the landfill, for the stem of $104,377.00, and as appended in Aill hereto be introduced and adopted according to law. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Ford and Mayor Penrod (4) . Commissioner Viterisi voted "NAY" (1) . Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
