GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A 2009
JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE,
AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $149,548,
TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT AND MCCRACKEN COUNTY
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and
all documents necessary to obtain a 2009 Justice Assistance Grant through the U.S. Department
of Justice, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, in the amount of $149,548, to be used by
the Paducah Police Department and McCracken County Sheriff's Department. The funds will be
allocated 57% ($85,242) to the City and 43% ($64,306) to the County based on 911 call volume.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
