A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH
PLANNING DEPARTMENT TO EXECUTE AN ONLINE APPLICATION FOR A FIRE
PREVENTION AND SAFETY GRANT THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND
SECURITY, FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$4,325.00, FOR FUNDING TO BE USED FOR THE SMOKE ALARM INSTALLATION
PROGRAM
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah Planning Department is hereby authorized to
execute an online grant application to obtain a Fire Prevention and Safety Grant through the
Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency in the amount of
$4,325.00, for funding to be used for the Smoke Alarm Installation Program. Local cash match
will be in the amount of $216.00 and will be provided through the Fire Department's FY2015
budget.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
