WHEREAS, the Office of City Clerk is a statutorily mandated municipal office
with duties prescribed by KRS 83A.085 and Section 2-92 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paducah, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is charged with the governance
(� responsibility of non -elected offices, and,

WHEREAS, a personnel evaluation is desirable so that the Board of
Commissioners may monitor and oversee the job performance of the City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, by the adoption of this Municipal Order, the Board of
Commissioners direct as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager shall present to the Board of
Commissioners the current job description for the City Clerk; a recommended procedure with
performance evaluation forms which shall permit each Commissioner to individually rank and
comment on the job performance of the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager shall suggest to the Board of
Commissioners a reasonable time frame for the completing the aforesaid evaluation process.
SECTION 3. That this Municipal Order becomes effective immediately upon
adoption.
