HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 901188 MUNICIPAL ORDER NO.q61 A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 5 TO THE COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFIT PLAN SUMMARY FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH WHEREAS, by Municipal Order No. 799, adopted by the City of Paducah on April 13, 1999, the City of Paducah adopted a Comprehensive Health Insurance Benefit Plan Summary for full time employees of the City of Paducah, and WHEREAS, the City desires to update this plan to allow independent contractors to be covered by the City's Health Insurance Plan, provided they meet eligibility criteria. BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah adopts Amendment No. 5 to the Comprehensive Health Insurance Benefit Plan Summary for Employees of the City of Paducah. This amendment allows independent contractors to be covered by the City's Health Insurance Plan provided they meet the eligibility criteria of a regular full-time employee as outlined by the Plan Document, and whose contract with the City requires the availability of coverage under the Plan. SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
