A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE TECHNOLOGY GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $748,350
FROM THE U. S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OFFICE OF COMMUNITY POLICING
SERVICES TO UPGRADE THE EMERGENCY SERVICES TELECOMMUNICATIONS
SYSTEM
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a Department of Justice Technology grant in the amount
of $748,350, from the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Policing Services to
upgrade the emergency services telecommunications system which also includes installing
mobile data terminals in emergency vehicles.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
