A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
FIREFIGHTERS MATCHING FUND GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS
NECESSARY THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY IN
- THE AMOUNT OF $222,300, FOR FUNDING TO BE USED FOR THE PADUCAH FIRE
DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a matching fund grant
application and all documents necessary to obtain a firefighter's grant through the Federal
Emergency Management Agency in the amount of $222,300, for funding to be used for the
Paducah Fire Department to purchase a mobile fire safety house and 20 mobile automatic
external defibrillators. The City cash match will be provided in the amount of $24,700.00.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
