A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A LAND
AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$75,000.00, THROUGH THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT
~ FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A GREENWAY TRAILS SEGMENT BETWEEN PERKINS
CREEK NATURE PRESERVE AND STUART NELSON PARK
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a Land and Water Conservation Fund matching grant in
the amount of $75,000.00 through the Kentucky Department of Local Government for
construction of a segment of a Greenway Trails segment between Perkins Creek Nature Preserve
and Stuart Nelson Park.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds will be in the amount of $75,000.00.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
