A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING A REVISED INVESTMENT
POLICY FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH PURSUANT TO KRS CHAPTER 66.480
WHEREAS, during the 1994 regular session, the Kentucky General
Assembly enacted Senate Bill 199 which amended KRS 66.480, regulating the
investment of public funds by local governments, thereby requiring each local
government to adopt a written investment policy to govern the investment of its funds;
and
WHEREAS, by Municipal Order No. 699 the City of Paducah adopted its
first written investment policy on December 27, 1994; and
WHEREAS, due to Kentucky Revised Statutes amendments it is necessary
to revise our current investment policy.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby adopts a revised City of
Paducah Investment Policy pursuant to the provisions of KRS 66.480.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
