MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1758
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR A 2014/2015
REIMBURSEMENT GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $55,541.00 THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HIGHWAY SAFETY FOR SPECIFIC TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT
AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents necessary for a reimbursement grant through the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety
in the amount of $55,541.00. Said grant funds shall be used to fund in -car video cameras and
Breathalyzer tests; as well as, overtime hours for traffic enforcement activities for the Paducah
Police Department. No local cash or in-kind contribution is required.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
