At a Called of the Board of Commissioners held on January 18, 1984, Mayor Viterisi
presided and upon call of the Roll, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Cole,
Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5).
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Ford, that the executed
copies of notices of Called Meeting to be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 1984, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford,
Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5).
Commissioner Cole offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the Board of
Commissioners introduce an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
LEASE WITH SEAFARER'S INTERNATIONAL UNION". This ordinance is summarized as follows:
Authorizing the Mayor to execute a lease for a portion of the City Hall Annex building to
Seafarer's International Union, at a rental rate of $115.00 per month. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5)
Commissioner Ford offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley, that the Board of
Commissioners go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing pending or proposed
litigation. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Viterisi and
Mayor Viterisi (5).
Upon conclusion of the Executive Session, the Board reconvened in the Commission
Chamber whereupon the Mayor announced there was no further business.
