A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
KENTUCKY RECYCLING GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY
THROUGH THE KENTUCKY ENVIRONMENTAL AND PUBLIC PROTECTION
CABINET, DIVISION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT FOR FUNDING FOR THE
VOLUNTEER -OPERATED RECYCLING DROP OFF CENTER
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a joint application with
the McCracken County Fiscal Court in partnership with the Jackson Purchase Resource
Conservation and Development Foundation for a Kentucky Recycling Grant through the
Kentucky Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet, Division of Waste Management in the
amount of $60,000, to purchase equipment, trailers to expand the coverage of the recycling effort
and for educational materials.
SECTION 2. The City of Paducah and McCracken County Fiscal Court hereby
agree that the City shall act as the lead government agency in meeting all grant requirements,
including a 50150 local cash match of $7,500 each and $25,800 from GPS, for a total match of
