A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR
PRE -CAST PIPE TO BE USED FOR LIFT STATION CONSTRUCTION AT THE KENTUCKY OAKS

BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to advertise for bids for 25' + of 9611 -pre -cast reinforced concrete pipe for
use in construction of the lift station at the Kentucky Oaks Mall site.
Said concrete pipe shall be in compliance with specifications which may obtained in
the office of the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for bids by inserting notice
of request for bids in the Paducah Sun to be published as required by law. All bids
shall be sealed and no bid shall be received after the hour fixed in the notice for
the opening of same. Ail bids received by'the City Manager up to the time fixed for
the opening of bids -shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners who may let a
contract to the best responsible bidders and the Board of Commissioners shall reserve
the right to reject any and all bids and the City shall not become legally obligated
to have such services performed until the final adoption of an authorizing ordinance
and the execution of a contract.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and -after the
date of its adoption.
