A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT TO PREPARE AN AMENDED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes Section 100-183 requires
the adoption of a Comprehensive Plan which will serve as a guide for public
and private actions and decisions to assure the development of public and
private property in the most appropriate relationship, and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Revised Statutes require the Com-
prehensive Plan to be reviewed and amended at least once every five (5)
years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH ,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Community Development Department of the City
of Paducah, is hereby authorized and instructed to prepare and submit to the
Paducah Planning Commission an Amended Comprehensive Plan for the City
of Paducah.
SECTION 2. The proposed Comprehensive Plan shall contain as a
minimum all of the requirement of Kentucky Revised Statutes, Section 100.187,
subsections 1 through 5.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be effective immediately upon its
adoption by the Board of Commissioners.
