JONES AND IdNVIBERLY F, JONES, TO B_E USED BY THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD, d/b/a PADUCAH POWER SYSTEM, FOR THE RELOCATION OF SUBSTATION NUMBER 1 WHEREAS, two parcels of real estate are owned of record by Peoples First National Bank .8 Trust Company as Trustee for Kyle P. Jones: and. Kimberly F. Jones, and—is necessary for the relocation of Substantion Number 1, and WHEREAS, the Electric "PFant Board, d/b/a Paducah Power System, by resolution dated the '17thday of Decembler, 1980, ' requested institution of condemnation proceedings in its behalf, and WHEREAS, it does' not appear that a purchase 'agreement. can, be reached at this time with the owners of the subject property, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does therefore agree with the request of the 'Electric Plant Board, d/b/a Paducah Power System, that it will be necessary to institute condemnation proceedings pursuant to Kentucky Revised _.Statutes to acquire title to this property. NOW, THEREFORE,: BE ­IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the -Corporation Counsel be, and he is hereby, ordered and directed 'to institute condemnation 'proceedings in McCracken Circuit Court against Peoples First National Bank 8 Trust Company as Trustee for Kyle P. Jones and Kimberly- F. Jones, and any and all other parties in iriterest-to acquire all of the right, title and interest in the subject property owned by the aforementioned. as follows: SECTION 2. That the parcels to be taken are more particularly described Parcel No. 1. Beginning at the northwest corner of 3rd and Monroe Streets in the City of Paducah; thence northwardly with the west line of 3rd Street 75.5 feet; thence westwardly and parallel with Monroe Street 112 feet; thence northwardly and parallel with 3rd Street 40 feet; thence westwardly and parallel with Monroe Street 61.25 feet; thence south- wardly and parallel with 3rd Street 115.5 feet to the north line of Monroe Street; thence eastwardly with the north line of Monroe Street 173.25 feet to the beginning. Parcel No. 2. Being a part of Lot 74 in Block No. 10, Addition "D" to Paducah, and beginning at a point 75 feet 6 inches from the northwest corner of 3rd and Monroe Streets, and running down 3rd Street toward Madison Street 40 feet; thence at right angles toward 4th Street 112 feet; thence toward Monroe Street 40 feet; thence at right angles and to 3rd Street 112 feet to the point of beginning. 39 SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
