MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 25
A MUNICIPAL'ORDER SELECTING .AND DESIGNATING ALLEN AND KLEET AND
ASSOCIATE'S, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS; PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO AUDIT
THE RECORDS OF THE -ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEN-
TUCKY, FROM JULY 1, 1,980 TO JUNE 30, 1981
WHEREAS, KRS 96.840 provides that an audit of the records of the
Electric Plant Board shall be made annuaaly by an auditor selected by -the Legis
lative Body of the City, and that the expense of said audit shall constitute an
operating expense of the Electric Plant Board, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted by the Electric Plant Board on the 12th
day of November, 1980, said Board recommended to the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah that Allen and Kleet and Associates, Certified Public Accountants, be
appointed to make an audit of the Electric Plant Board's records from July 1, 1980
to June 30, 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED "BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Allen and Kleet and Associates, Certified Public Accountants
of Paducah, Kentucky, are hereby selected and designated to audit the records of
the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah as provided by KRS 96.840 and
that the expense of such audit shall constitute an operating expense of said Board.
SECTION 2. The compensation for such audit shall be based upon the
standard fees of Certified Public Accounts, however, the total cost of same shall
not exceed the sum of $6,600.00.
SECTION 3. That the Clerk of this Board forward a certified copy of this
resolution to the Superintendent of the Paducah Power System and to the Chairman
of the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
