AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MORRIS FENCE INC., FOR
THE PURCHASE OF FENCING FOR BROOKS STADIUM, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Morris Fence Inc., in the
amount of $20,401.00 for the purchase of entry fencing for Brooks Stadium, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the
bid of Morris Fence, Inc., dated January 5, 2009.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Morris
Fence Inc., for the purchase of entry fencing, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Brooks Stadium Upgrades.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
