A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR A REIMBURSEMENT
GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,000.00 THROUGH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF
HIGHWAY SAFETY FOR PRESENTATION OF THE "HEADS UP DON'T BE
IN'TEXT'ICATED" PROGRAM BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents necessary for a reimbursement grant through the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety
in the amount of $21,000.00. Said grant funds shall be used by the Paducah Police Department
for the presentation of the "Heads Up Don't Be In'text'icated" Program. No local cash or in-
kind contribution is required.
SECTION 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
