MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 83
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING CHANGES IN THE STATE PRIMARY ROAD SYSTEM
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. A summary of the proposed deletions to the State Primary Road
System is as follows:
1. U.S. 60 X(U.S. 60 Business Route), from the intersection of Kentucky
Avenue and Sixth Street via Sixth Street, Broad Street and Bridge_
Street to the intersection of Bridge Street and Beltline Highway, a
distance of 2.159 miles. The bridge over Island Creek on Bridge Street
will be retained on state maintenance as an unclassified road.
2. U.S. 45 X(U.S. 45 Business Route), from the intersection of Kentucky
Avenue and Ninth Street via Ninth Street, Madison Street and Eighth
Street to the intersection of Eighth Street and Clay Street, including
the one-way couplet of Ninth Street and Madison Street (North) versus
Eighth Street and Jefferson Street (South), a distance of 0.531 mile.
3. KY 305 (Thirteenth Street), from the intersection of Thirteenth Street
with Clay Street via Thirteenth Street to the intersection of
Thirteenth Street with Kentucky -Avenue, a distance of 0.475 mile.
4. KY 788 (Friedman.Lane), from the intersection of Hinkleville Road
(U.S. 60) via Friedman Lane to the intersection of Friedman Lane with
Ramona D rive,,a distance of 0.118 mile..
5. Ky 1881 (Broadway), from the intersection of Broadway with LaBelle
Avenue via Broadway to the intersection of Broadway with 28th Street, a
distance of 0.431 mile.
6.; KY 2591 (Clarks River Road), from_,the junction with- KY.284 via the
Clarks River Road in Paducah to the junction with KY 450 (Kentucky
Street), a distance of 0.616.mile.
SECTION 2.-,A summary of the proposed additions to -the State Primary Road
System is as follows:
1. U.S. 60 X(U.S. 60 Business Route),.from.the intersection of H.C. Mathis
Drive with Park Avenue via Park Avenue, Clay Street, Fourth Street,
Third Street and Wayne,Sulli_van,Drive to the intersection of Wayne,
Sullivan Drive with U.S. 60 (Beltline Highway), including the one-way
couplet of.Clay Street and Fourth.Street (East) versus Park Avenue and
Third Street (West), a distance of 6.000 miles.
2. U.S. 45 X(U.S. 45 Business Route), from the intersection of Kentucky
Avenue with Sixth Street via Kentucky Avenue to the intersection of
Kentucky Avenue with Third Street, a distance of 0.237 mile.
3. Buckner Lane, from the intersection of Lone Oak Road to the
intersection of 32nd Street, a distance of 0.04 mile.
SECTION 3. The effective date of the above transfer is to coincide with
the rerouting of U.S. 60 with the Riverfront Access Road.
