HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 090125 MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 90 A MUNICIPAL ORDER REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR PROPOSALS FOR DISPOSING OF SURPLUS COMPUTER OWNED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to advertise for proposals to sell surplus computer described as follows: IBM SYSTEM/32, Serial No. 5320 81435, 16K Bytes of Main Memory, 9.1 Bytes of Fixed Disk..Storage, Diskette Input/Output for file back-up; 155 LPM Printer. SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for proposals by inserting a notice of the request in The Paducah Sun to be published as required by law. All proposals shall be sealed and no proposal shall be received after the hour fixed in the notice for opening of same. All proposals received by the City Manager up to the time fixed for opening of same shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners who may let a contract to the best responsible bidder, and the Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to reject any and all proposals and the City shall not become legally obligated to accept such proposals until the final adoption of an authorizing ordinance and the execution of a contract. SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption. John K.
