A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL
COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH McCRACKEN COUNTY FOR ADMINISTRATION OF SECTION 8
EXISTING HOUSING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has been functioning through its
Community Development Agency (PHA) to administer the Section 8 Existing
Rental'Assistance`Program in the City of Paducah and the McCracken County
geographical areas; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enlarge the jurisdiction of the City
of Paducah -in administering the above mentoned,Section 8 Program to include
McCracken County, and
WHEREAS, to accomplish this result it is necessary for the City of
Paducah to continue to supervise and operate the program through PHA, with
the cooperation of McCracken County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BYTHE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into an Inter-
local Cooperation Agreement with McCracken County for administration of the
Section 8 Bxisting Housing Program; said Agreement is attached hereto and
made a part hereof as if set out in full herein.
SECTION'2. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
