A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE ASSIGNMENT OF CERTAIN LEASES BY

MRJ�B CORPORATION TO GREEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF INDIANA, INC.
WHEREAS, a certain lease agreenen was made and entered into by and
between the City of Paducah as Lessor and MRJ&B Corporation as Lessee which
is recorded in Book 632, Page 338 of the office of McCracken County Clerk,
and
WHEREAS, a certain lease agreement was made and entered into by and
between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as Lessor and Paducah -McCracken County
Convention Center Corporation as Lessee which lease is recorded in Book 632,
Page 355 in the office of McCracken County Clerk's office, and
WHEREAS, said lease was duly assigned by Paducah. -McCracken County
Convention Center Corporation to MRJ&B Corporation, and recorded in Book 632,
Page 37 of the McCracken County Clerk's office, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for MRJ&B Corporation to assign said
leases to Green Construction Company of Indiana for the purpose of financing
the construction of a hotel complex as provided under the original lease, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah find
that said assignment will not impair the leases but is necessary for develop-
ment of a hotel complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners approve the assignment
of lease, dated the 30th day of December, 1982, between MRJ&B Corporation and
Green Construction of Indiana, Inc., assigning the lease entered into between
the City of Paducah and MRJ&B Corporation, and further the Board of Commis-
sioners approve the assignment of lease entered into on the 30th day of
December, 1982, by and between MRJ&B Corporation and Green Construction of
Indiana, Inc., of the lease entered into between the Paducah -McCracken County
Convention Center Corporation and the City of Paducah, which was assigned to
MRJ&B Corporation by Paducah -McCracken County Convention Center Corporation,
which assignment of leases are attached hereto and made a part hereof as if
set out in full.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
perform all acts necessary and.sign all documents to carry out the intent of
this order which is to approve the assignment of leases referred to in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This order shall become effective upon its adoption
according to law.
