A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS TYPES OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTIONil.__:Thdt the City Manager be, authorized and directed to
advertise for bids for rental of various -types of heavy construction equipment
to supplement City owlied..equipment in the performance of various construction
and maintenance activities:

Excavator Scraper
Backhoe
Track Loader:: -
Single axle dump truck
Motor grader
Dozer
Pneumatic roller
Tandem axle dump truck
Said equipment rental shall be performed under the terms, conditions,
and stipulations described in the proposal which may be obtained at the office
of the,Engineering Department, City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for bids by inserting
notice of the request for bids in The Paducah Sun to be published as required by
law. All bids shall be sealed and no bid shall be received after the hour fixed
in the notice for the opening of same. All bids received by the City Manager up
to the time fixed for the`opening of bids shall be filed with the Board of
Commissioners who may let a contract to the best responsible bidder(s) and the
Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to reject any and all bids and
the City shall not become legally obligated to have such services performed
until the final adoption of an authorizing ordinance and the execution of a
contract.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force from and after the date
of its adoption.
